How do I take the herbs?
Please take your herbs as prescribed with about 1/2 cup of warm water.
If you’re taking herbal granules, use the spoon provided (each level spoon equals 1 gram). Measure out your dose and mix it with hot water to create an herbal tea.
when is the best time to take herbs?
For best absorption, take herbs on an empty stomach—about 30 minutes before meals or at least 1 hour after eating. Please also take herbs at least 2 hours apart from caffeine, alcohol, medications, supplements, and other substances. Daily consistency helps build the gradual benefits of the medicine.
what do I avoid eating while taking herbs?
While taking herbs, try to minimize raw, cold, greasy, fried, or sour foods—especially if your formula supports digestion. Otherwise, continue your normal or recommended diet.
Can i take herbs when i get sick?
Unless otherwise directed, pause your herbs if you begin to feel unwell (e.g., cold or flu). You can resume once you're fully recovered.

If you are or think you may be pregnant, stop taking the herbs and contact our office for further guidance.
If i notice an adverse reaction while taking herbs, what do i do?
If you experience any new or adverse symptoms, stop taking the herbs and contact our office. We’ll help determine if the formula or dosage needs to be adjusted.
