how to aftercare
What should i do after Sessions?
Plan to take it easy and rest after. Eat warm, light meals and hydrate well with warm water. We recommend wearing layers and keeping your body warm, especially your neck, back, abdomen, and feet.
What should I avoid after Sessions?
We recommend avoiding caffeine, alcohol, and other substances.
After acupuncture sessions, avoid working out right after. Wait a few hours or even the next day before taking a shower or swim, and using a hot tub or sauna.
What can I expect after Sessions?
Responses will vary for each individual but some experience an increased need for rest, increased energy, or heightened awareness of emotions and bodily sensations. We recommend leaning into what your body needs.
For acupuncture patients, share your experience at follow-up sessions as this may inform treatment.
